Romney enjoys unexpected conservative cover
Thu Dec 15, 2011
Not-Newt is starting to win out against Not-Mitt. Regardless of who wins the Republican nomination, the Republicans will not like that person. The purity tests that the current candidates are going through have scared off many of the better potential candidates the Republicans could have won with.
Paul - not Romney - leads anti-Gingrich offensive
Tue Dec 6, 2011
The Republicans do not like any of their candidates; it does not matter who emerges from this group, they will have a high unfavorable rating with Republicans.
Ariz. gun club offers Santa shoot
Tue Nov 29, 2011
I am one of those progressive liberals. Is this idea tacky? Sort of, but in a free country it is more than OK.
Science fiction author Anne McCaffrey dies at 85
Tue Nov 22, 2011
For the majority of time, I do not think the technology existed to do her stories in the grandure they deserve. However, with the skills that developed Avatar, I could see the world of Pern coming to life.
Science fiction author Anne McCaffrey dies at 85
Tue Nov 22, 2011
The science fiction and fantasy was just a side feature; Anne developed marvelous characters. They had a feel of someone you really would know or wanted to know. We grew to care for these characters as their lives would develop over numerous books.

What should Obama propose to get the economy going again?
Wed Aug 17, 2011
Nothing will pass, the Republicans will not allow it. Obama needs to address what he can do without the legislative branch. With the senate, he needs to propose legislation, in DETAIL, of the right things to do. Without any spin he must sell this on merit knowing that serious …
Challenges to red light cameras span US
Fri Jun 24, 2011
Maybe the programming needs to be refined, but I am sick of the idiots thinking they have a patriotic right to run red lights all the time. I have a modestly busy intersection outside of where I work and I see very serious violations a couple times a week. If a person enters an …
Congressman Weiner resigns
Thu Jun 16, 2011
As a progressive, liberal, democrat I am very glad to hear the Weiner is resigning. I also do not care about the Vitter argument, that has nothing to do with how unconnected from reality the Weiner has been to do what he has done. If I was a Republican I would want Vitter out …
Supreme Court backs Ariz. employer sanctions law
Thu May 26, 2011
Some business people get very rich using cheap labor; some of those business people are Republicans. This is where we need to put the American people before political parties and enforce the law.
